People forget the Scriptwriters that make the show. So please take notice in them. Without them, we would not be enjoying great stories. So take the time to think and thank 'em. If your a Christian like me, pray for their health and success and continue good stuff. =-)

So, this is my thoughts,

I am upset.

I really, really, really, rrrreealllleeeee don't want Davies retire from script writing Dr Who. I thought he did many justice to the show. He is the best, best of the best, the top man and I say they ought try to convince Davies to do a few scripts on the side. I mean it. All the episodes I hold dear was done by him. Talking about Davies is my hero. Without Davies there would not be a great Dr Who or a great story or a great actors and people. Yep, I always see the story is the main FOUNDATION of making a show work. Plot is the KEY! yep. So, Davies where ever you are. Don't retire completely. Don't make me go out of my way to track you down and beg you. I clean your bathroom with my tooth brush! hehehe. Yea, that's total way out there. But, he's the ONE who does a brilliant job!

I think it would be great if he remained to give the series general direction etc as he has done an incredible job, but his script writing has weakened substantially in my opinion.

I think he kept everything really toned down for the first season since no one knew what they were capable of or what they could get away with with the BBC or viewers. He was a bit looser with season two and it had incredible results.

Now that he knows he can do pretty much whatever he wants, he isn't regulating himself or putting quite as much thought into what works and what goes too far, so I really think season three suffered for that (most noticibly with Evolution of the Daleks, and gnome!Doctor in LOTTL).

And also, I think in this fandom, a large number of people do notice who writes each script and makes note of their favorites. Names like RTD and Moffat are spoken without any kind of disclaimer, people just know who they are.
